Museums are amazing if you are into art, history and creativity! These 3 are might be the best museums in Istanbul. Lovely that you like to visit museums. Beside enjoying my holiday by chilling out I also prefer making my holiday more valuable by adding some art and history in it.
An old warehouse in Tophane is playing host to Istanbul Modern Art Museum. It is located right on the shores of the Bosphorus Strait. It is Turkey`s first private museum to organize modern and contemporary art for art lovers. Beside exhibiton galleries, it is also a good place to go for cinema, restaurant, design store or extensive library. Istanbul Modern made a good job by sharing Turkey`s artistic creativity.

Ps*Istanbul Museum of Modern Art is closed on January 1 and on the first day of the religious holidays.
First it was a villa belongs to Hidiv family of Egypt, Then it was “the mansion with the horse” belongs to Sabanci Family and now, It is one of the most visited museum in Istanbul. Sakip sabanci Museum has good collections to see, education programmes to join and hosts many exhibitions to visit. Apart from these you can enjoy a good lunch at the museum`s stylish restaurant Muzedechanga.

Rahmi Koc Museum
Rahmi Koc Museum Istanbul invigorated in an old Ottoman Anchor House. It opened it doors in 1994 for visitors after a meticulous restoration founded by Rahmi M. Koç Museology and Culture Foundation.This private non-profit institution dedicated to the collecting, housing, researching, preserving and exhibiting of industrial and engineering objects and their documentation from all countries and periods up to the present day. There are education projects and workshops available at Rahmi Koc Museum. They also have a good collection of Ataturk.

Closed on Mondays.
Ps*Museum is closed on the day before and first day of religious holidays. Museum is closed on December 31th and January 1st.
By visiting these extraordinary museums if you want to make your day even more enjoyable! Since the mentioned museums are close to sea side you may wish to think about to visit them by a private yacht, instead of by road trip.
